Giving Local…Supporting Local

The 12th Annual Buffalo Brunch marked the beginning of a new relationship between our annual spring event and the City of Good Neighbors. With encouragement from our longtime partner, the Empire State Pride Agenda, the Buffalo Brunch is now an independent entity. This means that dollars raised at the Buffalo Brunch will now stay local!  The Buffalo Brunch will leverage its proceeds to support projects, organizations, causes and people that positively impact the LGBT community in Buffalo and Western New York!

In 1997 a small group of concerned individuals gathered together to begin building community and raising funds. Years of dedication grew that intimate gathering into last year’s grand celebration which was experienced by the 350 LGBT community members, their family, friends and allies. Committed and enthusiastic fundraising efforts have resulted in over $100,000 in generous donations since the event began.

In keeping with eleven years of tradition, the 12th Annual Buffalo Brunch again allowed us to gather, recognize, and celebrate the local efforts, institutions, and individuals that embrace our community. We ask your continued support – in attendance, sponsorship and financial contribution – as we begin what is surely to be another dozen years of celebration and good work! As always your generous donation to the Buffalo Brunch is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. All checks may now be made directly to “Buffalo Brunch”.

We thank you for supporting our new format of giving and for helping to continue our community’s proud tradition of support for a positive LGBT community in Buffalo and Western New York.
